Lovely
is the name of my pet. It is a female lovebird. I was clueless when I wanted to
name it so I named it lovely because it has beautiful and colorful feathers. I
got it from a pet shop near my friend’s house.
Lovely
has a small and stocky body. It also has a short and blunt tail and a large
hooked upper beak. It has a rainbow of yellow, green, and blue on its body, and
a bright peachy-pink face.
I
love lovely because it is very active. It always chirps anytime, especially in
the morning. It sings melodiously. It is also a smart bird. It produces a wide
range of articulations, including the imitation to the human voice, though it
never talks.
I
put lovely in a cage. During the day, I usually hang it outside the house so it
can enjoy the warmth of the sun. I love to sit on the veranda listening to
music from my phone while enjoying it chirp.
One
day, I was surprised to hear it singing my favorite song while I was playing
the song from my phone loudly. I stopped the song, but lovely is still singing.
It is amazing, isn’t it?
